What is GEMS?
(Girls Everwhere Meeting the Savior)
GEMS Girls' Clubs is an international relationship-building program created especially for girls! Girls in third through eighth grades make up the club at Anaheim Christian Reformed church. At our club, girls will:

- Enjoy dynamic singing, creative movement, and dance
- Develop important life skills through badge activities
- Learn how to apply the Bible to their lives
- Make creative and fun crafts
- Participate in service projects that make a difference in others’ lives
- Find answers to challenges that girls face today
- Participate with area clubs for camp, rally and worship events

The purpose of GEMS is to help bring girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ. To help foster this all-important relationship between each girl and Christ, other relationships are nurtured as well — between girls and between girls and their counselor (leader).
Girls in clubs are organized into small groups with one leader or counselor for each group of six to eight girls. These small groups, coupled with the semi-weekly interactions that take place in club, nurture and develop faith and help girls create long-lasting friendships.
Our counselors meet regularly with area counselors and at international conferences to find support, motivation and encouragement – as a woman and as a mentor of girls.
When: We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m. during the months of September thru May.
Where: Fellowship Hall
