Freedom of Soul - Audio Sermons http://www.faithwebsites.com/audio_rss.cfm?detailid=75927 Audio Sermons The Bible & Sexuality http://www.freedomofsoul.com/The Bible_Sexuality1.MP3
Many Christians have misconceptions about marriage, sex, and relationships, due to the fact that they have been influenced by Hollywood, magazines, friends, and pornography. Consequently, the results are divorce, unfulfilled sexuality, and wrong expectations for relationships. The aim of this sermon is to go back to Genesis to see what God's intentions are for marriage, sex, and relationships, and how Satan has distorted God's original plan from the beginning.
The Baptism of The Holy Spirit http://www.freedomofsoul.com/Baptism of the Holy Spirit.MP3
Christians today lack the power of God to minister effectively, believing that receiving the Holy Spirit at conversion is sufficient enough to minister to a dying world. But Jesus did not think so. John 20:22 tells us that the apostles received the Holy Spirit before the day of Pentecost ("And with that He breathed on them, and said, 'Receive the Holy Spirit.'"), yet Jesus did not allow them to minister until they received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit ("I'm going to send you what My Father has promised; but wait in the city until you have been clothed with Power from on high." Luke 24:49; "But John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." Acts1:5). So if the early Christians needed the baptism of the Holy Spirit to minister effectively, how much more do we need to be baptized in the Holy Spirit to minister to our generation?
Call to Holiness http://www.freedomofsoul.com/Call to Holiness.MP3
Some Christians believe that God is so good and loving that He would allow them to willfully continue sinning after being born again. But the Bible teaches “without holiness no one will see the Lord ” Hebrews 14:12. Paul had to deal with this issue in Romans 6:1-2, “ What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?” And The Apostle Peter says “as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, "Be holy, for I am holy," 1 Peter 1:14-16.
God Cares About Young People http://www.freedomofsoul.com/God Care About the Young People.MP3
Sadly, many churches today are well on their way to being extinct simply because there are no youth filling up the seats on sunday. The young people of this generation have a hard time relating to the Church, let alone God. To them, God is for old & boring people. They feel God doesn't care about them. But God has always had young people in His mind & heart. Therefore we can never forget & never stop reminding the young people of our community that God cares about them.
