Monday September 8-Wednesday, September 10, 2008:
Grade 9: Camp Miniyowe (Haliburton area). The class will be going through some high-school orientation training, while also taking part in such activities as swimming, boating, rock climbing, mountain biking, and much more. Due to a scheduling conflict at the camp, students will be leaving on Monday and coming back on Wednesday. Grade 9 students will have a full day of classes on Thursday and a half day on Friday.
Wednesday, Septmber 10 - Friday, September 12, 2008:
Grade 10: Ottawa, ON. The class will be heading out to our nation's capital city, where they will see our parliamentary buildings, great museums, our national mint, and so much more. Who knows which politicians will be met there? The class will be staying at a youth hostel that was once a penitentiary!
Grade 11: Toronto, ON. The class will be going to visit our provice's capital city, where they will spend some time serving others at such ministry organizations as The Scott Mission and Good Shepherd Ministries. On top of serving our Lord, we will also be visiting such places as the Royal Ontario Museum, Casa Loma, the CN Tower, the Science Center, and the Hockey Hall of Fame. The class will be staying at the Global Backpackers Youth Hostel in the heart of the city.
Monday September 8-Thursday September 11, 2008:
Grade 12: Quebec. Our senior students will be taking their annual trip by train to the province of Quebec. They will spend all four days in beautiful Old Quebec City, exploring cathedrals, The Chateau Frontenac, and The Citadelle. Students will also travel to visit St. Anne de Beaupre and The Stations of the Cross.
