Adopt-A-Leader

Our class has adopted Chris Fowler as a local leader whom we can pray for. He is the Shelter Director for the shelter run at Southridge Community Church. We had a wonderful visit with him last week. Thanks for sending in all the socks. We had 64 pairs altogether!

Memory Work

Please be reviewing the Luke 2 passage. It looks like a long passage, but most of it is review from grades 1-2. We need to have the Christmas passage memorized by December 18th. We will be sharing it at our chapel on Friday.

Spelling

This week's spelling lesson is lesson 15. The focus is on compound words. The remainder of the lesson is due on Thursday and the test will be on Friday.

Math

We are finishing our unit on addition and subtraction, including "mental math". The site below is perfect for review of what we are learning in class. The exercises are under "Try it out" and then under "Unit 4: Addition and Subtraction."

Library Books

The students will be bringing home 3 library books so they have something to read over the holidays.
