Jerry Kirchner, ardent promoter for Brother Dutton's sainthood cause and long-time president of the Damien-Dutton Society for Leprosy Aid, died on September 16.  Jerry came to Brother Dutton School in 2002 for the premier performance of the concert "Brother Dutton, Servant of God" by the Beloit-Janesville Symphony. In 2003 he was the recipient of the Damien-Dutton Society Medal, a prestigious annual award given to one who promotes the mission of the society. In 2004 he flew to Honolulu present the cause for Brother Dutton's sainthood to the bishop, but suffered a stroke soon after his arrival and was unable to do so. Please keep him in your prayers.
