LIFE Cells (Small Groups)

A LIFE Cell Group consists of a group of people who gather together on a regular basis as a "one another" community based on the principal of Acts 2:42-47(God's team working together, exercising their spiritual gifts to expand Christ's kingdom). This involves building up each cell member's life in Christ; using prayer, sharing, instruction in the Word, worship, and evangelism. We will pray for each other and get to know each other's needs. We will not be just talking about issues; but living them. Being part of a cell group is not a once a week meeting; but a new life-style where the meeting is a place to share together. We will share our spiritual gifts and how our "walk with Christ" went this week; rejoicing over victories, encouraging/helping each other over losses. Sharpening our knowledge of God's word by study and sharing of insight and materials, worshipping God with songs and praise. Being "salt and light" to those outside the Church and evangelizing nonbelievers. Although the cell starts by building relationships between each other; eventually more time will be devoted to study and service/evangelism. As the group grows in size, a second cell will be created and this process will repeat.

LIFE Cell Members:
  • Commit to attend cell meetings, unless "providentially hindered".
  • Does homework, support the leadership team, and pray for group.
  • Enter true worship and "one-anothering" with the group.
  • Seek to discover and employ gifts and resources in the Kingdom.
  • Remain "FAT" - faithful, available, and teachable; choose to grow in grace.
  • Keep other's comments shared within the group confidential; unless they specifically say it is ok to share outside the group.
  • Explore the basic discipleship areas: Word, Fellowship, Prayer, Worship and Evangelism.
  • Grasp the philosophy of ministry, mission, and vision of CFC.
We have several LIFE Cell Groups that meet weekly throughout our area. For more information contact Elaine Bivin at life@christianfellowship.org or at 270.527.8369 ext. 140.
