Message From Pastor David Parish
The other day I read some scriptures that impacted my life. Psalm 40: 5, 17 and Psalm 139: 17-18 declare that God is thinking about us. That thought struck me and I must admit that it truly amazes me. Not only does God know all about me, but He thinks about me! I hope you can see the distinction. The fact that He knows everything is part of my theology. If He knows everything, certainly He knows all about me. But when the scriptures points out that He “THINKS about me…that implies concentration and attention.
This is all the more amazing because we are so needy. We don’t deserve the loving attention of God, but He gives it by His grace. God truly loves us and desires to meet our need. In fact, His loving attention is directed our way in spite of our sin (Romans 5:8).
Today let this thought captivate you. God loves you, cares for your every need, and is constantly thinking of you. Run to Him in prayer. He is ready to hear and help.
