Getting married at CFC . . .
Marriage is ordained of God, and we're excited to see you through this amazing time! We want your wedding to be an experience you'll never forget.
Here are some guidelines to help you in your wedding planning process:
- If you are wanting to schedule your wedding to be held at CFC, you should schedule your date as soon as possible. Our facilities are used "around the clock", or so it feels. Therefore, early scheduling is a MUST.
- You should make arrangements to begin pre-marital counseling with one of our staff pastors as soon as possible, preferably with the pastor who will be performing the wedding ceremony. A firm foundation for your marriage and family should be priority one for the couple, helping to establish the basis for a happy home for you and your children. Further, the time to discuss differences and other issues that could affect your marriage is before the wedding date, not after-wards. At CFC, pre-marital counseling is simply something you can't afford to skip.
- There is $100.00 non-refundable charge to use our facilities for non-members. The bridal party (not the church) is responsible for returning all facilities to their regular state (trash emptied, room vacuumed, tables/chairs put back in their original places, stage re-set to specifications).
- There are various wedding and banquet supplies, (glassware, tablecloths, punch bowls, serving dishes, etc.) that are available to be checked out. You are responsible for returning all checked out items in the same condition as received.
- A competent sound technician will be scheduled by the church. However, the wedding party is responsible for a $75.00 fee to the sound person who will work the rehearsal (if one), will arrive 30 minutes prior to the time of the wedding, and will stay for at least 30 minutes following the service, and if music at the reception they will be available for one hour. You are responsible for providing all music, musicians, slide shows, etc. to the sound technician, as well as a schedule of the service so that they will be able to assist you with excellence. Please be aware that our sound techs are not responsible for compiling music (sheet music, tapes, Cd's, mp3's, etc.) or for the compilation of slide shows to be used during the wedding. All media to be used should be presented to the sound tech in a manner that is ready for immediate use.
A complete wedding/reception packet is available at the church office, Monday through Friday, 9-3, and should be picked up, completed and returned as soon as possible so that we can begin making sure your date is all you had hoped it would be.
If you already know your wedding date, please complete the form below and one of our staff will be in contact with you shortly. Please be advised, that completion of the following form does NOT guarantee the availability or reservation of our facilities. It simply gets the process started and helps us to serve you more efficiently.
