Current Class Information
The unit of academic affairs supports the mission of the College to provide an opportunity for students to receive a quality education in accord with the teachings of the Christian faith to lead responsible lives and to provide effective service to the Church and their community. The curriculum includes an associate and two baccalaureate degree programs built on the traditional liberal arts foundation which provides the conceptual framework necessary for analysis and problem solving in society.
The academic unit also includes activities which promote the development of social concern and sensitivity toward the dignity and worth of each individual. The Christian campus atmosphere is supported by such activities as chapel worship, Bible study, dormitory devotions, intercollegiate and intramural athletics.
The academic unit is divided into five divisions:
Division of Business and Computer Information
Division of Education and Psychology
Division of Humanities and Fine Arts
Division of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Physical Education
Division of Theology and Social Sciences
In addition to the five divisions, the academic unit includes the Registrar’s Office, the academic enrichment labs, and Classic Upward Bound Program.
