A Few Things You Should Know
Jim says, "At the United Methodist Student Center ...
- You won't be told what to believe here and we won't dictate how you should live out your faith.
- You'll be challenged, asked to look at your beliefs in new ways, supported, expected to think, listened to, cared for and even fed... 'cause that's what Jesus would do!
- We don't think there are easy answers or dumb questions.
- It's never too late to visit or become involved here... never too late at night (but the doors are usually locked at 11p.m.)... never too late in the semester... never too late in your time at ISU.
- If questions, doubts, lifestyle or whatever have caused you to push "church" or Christianity away (or vice versa), this might be exactly the place for you.
- God loves you more than you might imagine & we want to help you celebrate that and live out your life based on that reality."
