The DCS Endowment Fund was established in 1998 to provide financial assistance to families who desire the quality Christian education offered at DCS, but who find the cost of tuition out of reach. Since then, the fund has been blessed with steady growth, but had not reached a funding level where it could work as designed. Recently, the school board has been talking about growing the endowment to the point where the interest can indeed be used to help our school families. Even before an official kick-off of our efforts, DCS has trippled its endowment fund. Over the Christmas season of 2006, three very generous donations of $75,000, $67,508 and $3,685 were received. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Thank you donors. With this increase, we anticipate using endowment proceeds as a source of tuition assistance for the upcoming 2007-08 school year.
