TRIP |
DCS TRIP stands for Tuition Reduction Incentive
Program and is a service of the DCS Guild. We order
through the Great Lakes Scrip Center. The benefit of
this fund-raiser is that it costs you nothing extra.
As a matter of fact, you actually make money toward
your tuition, when you purchase cards for places you
usually shop at anyways. The gift cards are for
exactly the amount you pay out. The profit portion is
generated as a discount % from the company we purchase
the cards from. That profit is credited directly to
your tuition account.
If you need an order form, you can pick one up in the
office. The order form contains only a portion of the
vendors they offer. If there is a particular vendor
you are interested in and don't see it listed, just
ask and we will check if it is available. Local
businesses we have added include: BP, MC Sports,
Wendy's and Walgreen's. Remember, we have cards for
some local businesses on hand in the office including:
Domino's, Starbucks, Chili's and Pizza Hut. When you
purchase cards from the office stock, you are helping
raise funds for the Guild. These funds helps to pay
for field trips, busses to transport children to
fieldtrips and special events, as well as funds for
other "extras" for the students and the school.

A message from Sallythe DCS TRIP coordinator:
WOW, we are already talking about next school year! TRIP is a great way to get a jump on next year's tuition. Consider the fact that many of the businesses you go to daily can help you pay for your children's tuition. Let us say that the average percentage back is 7% and you order $100.00 on the turn in dates. (Drum roll) You would knock $42 off next year's tuition. If you get just one more family, say a grandparent, to also use this service, you could collect close to $100 off next year's tuition.
MORE TRIP INFORMATION...
Here are the TRIP turn in dates for the rest of the school year: Apr. 9, Apr. 23, May 7, and May 21. If you have any questions, please call Sally VanDyken 728-1008 (she may not be home but leave a message).
