“Examine yourselves too see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.” 2 Cor. 13:5
Dear Parents,
What a great trip to Discovery World last week! I hope your children told you all about our fun day!
We have been practicing for our play Blame It on the Wolf. The play will be presented on this Tuesday, May 22nd at 7:00. If you could bring some cookies on Tuesday night, it would be greatly appreciated. We will provide the refreshments and paper products.
I am putting together a general Reading or Math Summer Work packet. If your child would like one, please let me know which one. These packets have a variety of papers to work on throughout the summer months. If they return their packet completed and corrected in September, we will have a pizza and pop party at school together. Please let me know if your child is interested in one of these. There are about 25-two sided pages in each. It would be great if they did 1 side each day over the summer.
We are still collecting items for the local food pantry. We will be walking there on Wednesday afternoon and delivering our items.
We are picking up the pond on Thursday of this week. We still need a few drivers. Your children need to wear LONG PANTS on that day as the grass is very long.
Skate night is at the Delavan Skate Barn from 6-8:00 on Thursday night.
Please send in your report cards.
READING: We have been reading our book called The Whipping Boy.
SPELLING: Unit #34 after, never, father, water, other, winter, paper, finger, master, winner, mother, number, brother, discover, summer, computer, Challenge Words: whole, hole, Wisconsin
LANGUAGE ARTS: We are working on our stories.
MATH: We will be working on unit #11 this week.
I hope you have a great week. Remember to check out my newsletter on-line.
May God bless you today and always!
