Iam very excited to be working at Dutton Christian School as the Elementary Technology Teacher. I served as the long-term substitute in the computer lab last semester, and I really enjoyed working with classroom teachers creating lessons that integrate technology with language arts, social studies, and science. The students are wonderful and a joy to teach!
Before starting our family, I taught first, second, third and fifth grades at a private school in Ohio and here in West Michigan. I am currently attending GVSU in the Master of Education program in Reading and Language Arts and plan to graduate this winter.
I have been married to Jon for 17 years and have three children, Anna (8 years old), Ethan (6 years old), and Katherine (5 years old). We have a one-year-old Golden Retriever named Jack. In my spare time, I enjoy Bible Study Fellowship, gardening, and traveling with my family.
