How do I get all this homework done? |
|
You're in sixth grade now and maybe it seems like you have a lot more homework than before. Maybe you wanted to start middle school being more organized than ever, but you don't know where to start. Maybe school comes easy to you, but you'd like a few hints. I'm going to try to construct a page that gives some helpful hints for you to do just that. Follow the links on this page to get some good ideas or suggestions from me and other teachers at DCS and around the web. Remember your first and best route when you are struggling is to ask for help from a parent or a teacher. Either one can point you in the right direction for doing your best work.

QUESTIONS and ANSWERS
#1If your first question is how you are supposed to read all the books you have keep straight in 6th grade try this.
If you have a 200 page book, and 25 days to read it then you have to read 10 pages a day and will be left with 5 days to complete your assignments for that book. If you choose a 320 page book to read in that same 25 days you have to read almost 13 pages a day to complete the book and you will have no extra days. However, if you choose a 165 page book and read 11 pages a day you would be done in 15 days. Please think about your ability, reading speed and also your desire to read when you choose your books.
