• I graduated from Calvin College in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education
• In 2004-2005 I taught Grade One at Hillcrest School in Jos, Nigeria, West Africa
• In 2005-2006 I taught 5th Grade at Grandville Christian School
• This is my third year at teaching at Dutton Christian Elementary
• I am currently working toward a Master's Degree in Emotional Impairment from GVSU

My husband, Joe, and I have been married 3 years. We are very excited to start a family and pleased to announce that our first child is due in March. In the summer, we enjoy rollerblading, camping, and hanging out by our pool, but most of our free time is spent working on our house. We live in Kentwood and are members at Madison Square CRC, where I am a youth group leader.
