Young People'sSociety 

 

Primary Purpose: to give students a positive place to learn and wrestle with God, as well as enable them to discover and use the gifts God has given them.

               

*Goal: We win when a student has a meaningful interaction

 and discusses life-changing principles

 

            Reminder of Support Request forms

·        in the event that a student wishes to participate on a mission trip or convention they may contact me and/or fill out a form. (be specific with amount requested)

·        our leadership team will then decide what funds are available for that person.

·        We have a specific fund separate from our general fund designed to handle these requests. (the monetary support from the deacons comes directly into this account)

·        We ask that the Forms be submitted no later than a month before need or trip.   

          Reminder of  event Cancellation policy

A.     if school gets out early due to weather (other than Heat)

B.     Like Church: if there is a Warning in effect within an hour of our start time

        Reminder of Student driver policy

A.     students may drive to events with parents permission (written or verbal)

B.     However, no one other than family is allowed in the car; no friends may join them
