Welcome to First Presbyterian Church, Douglasville!  Whether you are a long-time follower of Jesus, or a seeker wanting to know more about the Christian faith, we would be delighted to welcome you to any of our worship services or activities.  We hope you will browse our website and make yourself at home among us.

First Presbyterian Church has about 100 volunteers who are dedicated to helping YOU feel at home here.  Some of them help host the Newcomer's Class and social events; some staff the Welcome Center in the narthex, and some show up on the doorsteps of first-time guests with coffee mugs and literature about the church.  As Christians who celebrate the forgiveness and new life we have experienced in Christ, we want you to feel welcome among us.

If you would like to know more about the life of First Presbyterian Church, we invite you to attend one of  our monthly Newcomer's Classes.  Normally held on the first Sunday of each month from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the church parlor, this class covers the basics of what it means to be a Christian, to be a Presbyterian, and to be a part of our local congregation.  It's an informal time when you can bring your questions and figure out who we are!
