Learn new insights in each upbeat humorous segment to help grow in maturity in Christ. Classroom discussion will follow segment viewing. You'll find this class to have lots of lively discussion, joy and laughter to go along with our study.
Teachers: David Hill, Vic Macias, Jim Tucker
Presbyterians: Who We Are, What We Believe - The Good News class is beginning this new study that will take the group through Christmas. We all know the basics, but do we know enough to share our Presbyterian theology and our Christian faith with others? In this study we will focus on the Bible, the cross, reformed theology, and of course, predestination. Each week the class will be structured around several key questions about our beliefs. We will use the Bible, the Book of Order, the Book of Confessions, Donald K. McKim's book, Presbyterian Questions, Presbyterian Answers, and a variety of reference sources. Most sessions are structured around small group assignments, small and large group discussion, Bible reading, and short lectures.
BIBLE SURVEY Room 206
Teachers: Nan Gordon, Steve Haack
An in-depth Bible discovery class that will challenge members as their knowledge and personal growth is enhanced through study and discussion. This class provides opportunity to see the amazing way the tapestry of God's Word is woven throughout Scripture to form a beautiful and complete story of His love and grace. After an extensive study of Isaiah, teacher Steve Haack, is quoted saying " . . . we now want to sit at the feet of our Savior and listen intently to His words."
