Women's Ministry

Sisters In Spirit

"Uniting women of all ages by the power of the Holy Spirit,
so that we can encourage, love, and mentor one another as God has called us to do"

The Women's Ministry Welcomes You as a Sister In Spirit!
God's Word tells us that we are all a unique part of the Body of Christ, and we are so glad to have you!

The aim of the Women's Ministry is for all women of this church to grow deeply in our relationship with God the Father, through His only Son, Jesus Christ. We desire to also grow richly in our fellowship with one another, through the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, so we may minister to others in love.

We offer Bible Studies, Outreach Programs, Mentoring Ministry(for all ages), Retreat for Spiritual Renewal, and many other events throughout the year which offer opportunities where we, as Sisters In Spririt, can serve God here in our homes and our community.

Mentoring Ministry

If you are interested in being a mentor and friend to a younger woman then this ministry is where you belong!

God created women to be relational. We thrive when we have trusted friends we can talk to and share our ideas and experiences. Friendships are so valuable especially among the different generations. God tells us in Titus 2 the importance of the older women guiding the younger. If the only friends we have are the same age then we miss out on a rich aspect of friendship. There is so much we can gain from socializing with women from different age groups. Their experiences, the wisdom that came from mistakes, and seeing life from a different vantage point are only a few of the many gifts women can give to the generation coming up behind them.

Many women do not have mothers who are living, or they may have loving mothers but don't feel comfortable talking to them about certain things in their lives. Whatever the situation, we need to support and encourage mentoring friendships because these relationships can play such an important part in a woman's or young girls life. It's about forming true friendships that are centered around God's love. It's about sharing, listening and encouraging one another, at whatever stage of life we are in so that we continue to grow more fully into the women God created us to be.

This Mentoring Ministry is available to all women. Please contact the front office to find out how you can be involved in this life changing ministry.
