What does First Presbyterian have for my family?

First Pres. is a great place for families. We have active ministries to various age and gender groups - check out the menu under the "Get Connected" button above for groups that appeal to you. There are often so many activities, it's hard to know where to plug in! We encourage you to make family-wide decisions about your church participation. What will help you grow at this time?

Rather than separating families at church, we encourage families to attend worship together, and to attend relevant Sunday school classes. We have Sunday school during both the 9:30 contemporary service and the 11:00 traditional service, so people who prefer either style can attend Sunday school at the alternate time.

On Wednesday evenings during the school year, we have family-style dinner and classes that can help families. FPC has also held parenting classes, Dave Ramsey's "Financial Peace University" classes, family-based small groups, and other educational events for families. We have sponsored mission projects that are appropriate for the whole family.
