Our Mission: The mission of First Presbyterian Church Seeds of Faith Preschool is to provide a child with the opportunity for physical, social, intellectual and spiritual development within a safe, loving, developmentally appropriate, Christian environment.
Board of Directors: Nancy Hague (Chair), Jennifer Coggin, Judy Derringer, Sandy Haldane, Topsy Suber and Christa Schillinger are serving on the Board.
Co-Directors: Gretchen Rakestraw and Mikki Moxley are the co-directors. Gretchen serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction and Mikki serves as the Director of Administration. For information about these ladies, please see their bios in our church staff section of this website.
Enrollment: Children must be 1, 2, 3 or 4 years of age on or before Sept. 1st in order to enroll in the Preschool. Enrollment will be held during February of each year for the following Sept. start date. The enrollment priority shall be as follows:
-Currently enrolled church members
-Currently enrolled non-church members
-Siblings of currently enrolled church members
-Siblings of currently enrolled non-church members
-Church members
-Community
Classes/Tuition:
1 year old class - Tues./Thurs. -$90/month
2 year old class - Monday/Wednesday or Tues./Thurs. -$90/month
2 year old class - Monday-Thursday - $140/month
3 year old class – M/W/F - $115/month or Tues./Thurs. - $95/month or M-F - $155/month
4 year old class – Monday-Friday - $155/month
Preschool hours are from 9:00-12:00.
First Presbyterian Church Seeds of Faith will follow the Douglas County School Calendar for holidays and school closings.
Registration:
Registration will open to currently enrolled children first, then church members, then the community. Registration opens to the public on Monday, March 3rd, 2008. The registration fee for 3 and 4 year old classes is $100. For 2 year olds, the registration fee is $50 or $75 for the 4 day option. Both of these fees are non-refundable. We do require immunization records prior to the first day of school.
