Ministry area: Christian education (Children thru 5th grade and Adults), Young Adults/Families, as well as assisting the senior pastor in leading worship, preaching, teaching, visitation and counseling

From: Though my family is originally from the mountains of southwestern Virginia, I was born in Athens, GA, lived in Danville, VA, until I was 12, then lived in Tulsa OK through high school.

Family: My mother and my older brother and his family live in Blacksburg, VA, and my younger brother and his family live in Manassas, VA. I have seven brilliant and adorable nieces and nephews, ranging in age from nearly 9 to just a few months old.

Education: BA - Duke University - Political Science
M. Div. - Duke Divinity School

Other: I spent seven years working for World Vision, and during my ministry with them I was able to travel to 38 different countries.

Vision: I hope to help all God's children experience and express the love of God shown to us through Christ Jesus.

Studied piano, voice, and organ. Certified in Service Playing and holds a Colleague Certificate from the American Guild of Organists. Thirty years experience in church music.

From: Born in Washington DC; Grew up in Long Island, NY; Lived in Hillsborough, NJ from 1978 to 2005; Moved to Flat Rock, NC in June 2005
Family: Married my lifetime partner, Roger in 1980; He is a retired police lieutenant. Daughter, Jenn is a student at Clemson University, SC
Career Background: 25 years in the NJ banking industry as a commercial lender and loan operations manager
Vision: To provide a work environment that reflects God's love through me daily in the everyday tasks performed in the church office.

Fran Rochester

From: Greenville, SC

Family: married for 29 years to Don, a mental health therapist. Son Daniel is a student at UNCC.

Education: AS ( Montreat College ) BA Elementary Education ( Limestone College )

Other: teaching accreditation grades K-8, taught grades K-4 through 9, worked with Creative Beginnings for the past 10 years, serving the past 3 years as preschool director.

Vision: It is my fondest hope that the staff of Creative Beginnings and I will share the love of Jesus with each child and parent involved with our preschool program while providing the best atmosphere possible to foster healthy cognitive, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth.
