Membership

Membership in First Presbyterian Church is open to all who profess faith in Jesus Christ, and who wish to join the fellowship and ministry of this congregation.  Now that you know more about us, we would like to invite you to make this your church home.

Persons wishing to unite with the church may do so by three methods: profession of faith, re-affirmation of faith, or by letter of transfer from another Christian church.  We recognize the validity of any baptism administered in the name of the Triune God by an ordained minister in a Christian church.

NEW MEMBER CLASSES

Our constitution requires that all persons wishing to unite with the church be instructed in the meaning of faith in Jesus Christ, the responsibilities of membership, and the faith and order of the Presbyterian Church.  Classes are held at selected times throughout the year and are announced in the Sunday worship bulletin.
