Students are evaluated and assessed on a daily basis as well as through formal and informal testing.  Students from Grade 3 to 9 complete the Canadian Test of Basic Skills.  Grade 4 and 7 students complete the BC Ministry of Education's Foundation Skills Assessment Tests. 

Student portfolios are used to document student learning and growth.  Students with Learning Disabilities or Special Needs follow Individual Educational Plans and work with a Teacher's Assistant as required.

Students are given opportunities to complete self-evaluation exercises and set appropriate goals. 

Two informal conferences take place each year.  Three formal reports are sent home to parents.  Forms are developed at the school level, following Ministry guidelines.
