GCS Staff and Volunteers - 2009-2010

 Deborah Levy, our full time teaching principal, teaches the primary and secondary class and coordinates the Special Needs program. 

Andrew Swift is teaches the intermediate class as well as P.E. to the older students..

Nina McLean teaches our Bible Program and is our Office Administrator. 

 Celia Preusse is teaching 3 days a week in the senior class.  She also teaches some fine arts with the intermediate group.

We have a Remedial Reading teacher, Judy Campbell, who works with special education and learning assistance students.

Heather Beamish is our Special Education Teaching Assistant.  She is also part of our office staff.

Karina Rayner is our Teacher's Assistant.  She also supervises at recess and lunch.

Our school operates with the involvement of parent and community volunteers working in cooperation with staff.  We have may invaluable volunteers who assisted in the following areas last year :

- fundraising support

- collecting and counting community tape register coupons

- volunteer drivering

- lunch time and playground supervision

- operating a hot lunch program 

- coaching sports

- field trip supervision

- computer maintenance

- classroom maintenance and repair

- office help

- classroom volunteers

- library help

- regular financial supporters
