GCS Staff and Volunteers - 2011-2012

Deborah Levy, our full time teaching principal, teaches the intermediate class, Primary Music and coordinates the Special Needs program. 

Rob Tegelberg has joined us from Delta.  He is teaching the senior class as well as teaching PE to the senior and intermediate classes.

Barbara Cernahoschi will be teaching the primary class part time as well as teaching French.  We are happy to welcome her to CS.

Cherie Duncan will be teaching the primary class twice a week.

Nina McLean teaches our Bible Program and is our Office Administrator. 

Alana Burt and Karina Rayner are our Special Educaton Teaching Assistants.  They both work with learning groups, supervise on the playground and support students with special needs and those requiring learning assistance.  Alana is also part of our office staff.  

Community and Parent Volunteers

Our school operates with the involvement of parent and community volunteers working in cooperation with staff.  We have may invaluable volunteers who assist in the following areas this year :

• Fundraising and financial support
• regular and field trip transportation
• prayer group leadership
• playground supervision
• shopping
• library maintenance and book repair
• supervision and leadership for special events
