Life can be tough, busy, challenging, and sometimes frightening, or lonely. It’s a long stretch from Sunday to Sunday, so join us midweek for our Wednesday night programs. Take timeout for dinner and Christian fellowship as we share life experiences and learn about God’s promises together. A delicious Family Dinner begins at 6 PM and programs for 6th through 12th graders and adults begin at 6:45. Childcare is provided.
For Adults: Thorny Old Testament Questions, The Killing of the Canaanites taught by Paul Copan
Probably the greatest Old Testament difficulty is the divine command to kill the Canaanites. Some call this "genocide" motivated by ethnic hatred But was it really? We'll be challenging the "Sunday school version" of this story. We'll do so by looking more closely at the biblical text as well as life in the ancient Near East and archaeological discoveries. These will help shed clarifying light on this discussion.
For Youth: Wednesday night Cross Culture is a mid-week time to unwind with friends, have some fun, and get refreshed from the living water of God's Word.
Choir Practice begins at 7:30 pm.
Welcome to Wednesday Nights at Memorial!
