Harvest's Nursery Ministry is made up of three rooms: Infants (birth to walker), Toddlers (walker to 2 years) and Tykes (3 to 4 years). Children are initially placed into nursery rooms based on age and are graduated into new rooms based on increasing developmental levels.
The Nursery Ministry uses Gospel Light's Little Blessing Nursery Curriculum in the Infant and Toddler rooms (Tykes are involved in the Kingdom Kidz program). This curriculum helps caregivers use the time they spend with little ones in the nursery to build spiritual foundations. It is organized into monthly themes and each month caregivers receive the Teacher's Home Page providing teaching activities based on Biblical concepts for that month's theme. Parents are also mailed a Parent's Home Page monthly which provides specific plans for ways parents can continue at home the teaching that has taken place at church.
Harvest's Nursery Ministry's purpose is to provide a safe, loving, fun and comfortable environment for both parents and their children. Our caregivers accomplish this and share the love of Christ with these little ones as they rock, read, feed and play with them.
Our nursery workers are screened and we adhere to a strict child protection policy to ensure the protection and health of your children.
