Hawkeye Council Canoe Rental Guidelines

• Canoe Rental Fee - $5 per canoe per day

            Fee is to be paid to Hawkeye Council Treasurer when canoes are returned.

• Inventory – Before picking up canoes a check list of condition of canoes, trailers, life vests, and oars will be filled out. This same check list will be filled out when canoes are returned.

• Trailers – Canoe trailers require an 2” ball hitch and a standard 4 wire rectangular (boat plug) trailer wire connector.

• Damages – All damages, other than ordinary ware and tear, to canoes, trailers, life vests, and oars are to be the responsibility of the renting party.

• Life Vests – Life vests are to be worn at all times, and by all persons while in canoes.

• NOTE: Canoes are only to be rented by clubs of Hawkeye Council.
