A Gyro Trac was used the day before to cut out the brush and small trees. |

A chipper was used to chip up the trees and brush into mulch. |

Each crew had a chain saw operator, a person to spray the stump with chemicals and people to carry out the trees and brush. |

All the trees and brush had to be carried to the path for the chipper. |

The volunteers were from Hawkeye Council, Boy Scouts, Central College and the general public. |
