SMALL GROUP'S

“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke
bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,
praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.” Acts 2:46-47

Why Small Groups? Because we believe it is extremely difficult to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ without having the committed, redemptive relationships Small Groups provide.  The purpose of the Small Group ministry at Heritage is “To connect people relationally in groups for the purpose of growing in Christlikeness, loving one another, and contributing to the work of the Church, in order to glorify God and make disciples of all nations.”
Small Groups are groups of people (four to ten individuals) who gather on a regular basis to study God’s Word, fellowship, worship, and pray together. They provide an opportunity for more intimate relationships with fellow believers, lending to spiritual growth and accountability.

Many of us long for vibrant spiritual growth, but we often find that our spiritual lives get squeezed out, overgrown or just plain dried up. Come join a group of women each week to culltivate your spiritual life while learning how to sink your spiritual roots deeper.

Come spend time in God’s word, build Relationships with other women, be encouraged in Obedient living and experience Worship with other Women.

A new group for moms and women of all walks of life will meet Thursday mornings beginning September 4 from 9:30-11:00am. We will be reading and discussing the book Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World: Finding Intimacy With God in the Business of Life by Joanna Weaver. Whether you are a Mary or a Martha, this Bible study will show us how we can draw closer to the Lord, through deepening our devotion and strengthening our service, all the while doing both with less stress and abundant joy.

Please let Heather Tuin (372-0727) know if you are interested in joining the group or if you have any questions. Childcare will be provided. Let’s grow in Christ together!
