They enable you to get to know other Christians in more depth and are a place where friendships are built. They provide a setting for prayer and worship with friends. They offer a means of engaging in practical action, putting faith into practice. And that, after all, is what church is about - a group of people who worship and pray, engage with God's word and seek to live it out - it's church, midweek, in a home.
