Bill accepted the call of Hope's Consistory to serve as the new Minister of Word and Sacrament on June 7, 2009. He began his duties as Hope's next pastor on August 1, 2009. He will be ordained and installed into this position on August 30, 2009.

Bill is serving Hope on a bi-vocational basis. In addition to serving as Hope's pastor, Bill will continue his law practice in Sheboygan. The purpose of this is to offer Hope some financial flexibility as it looks forward to revitalizing its ministry and mission.
Bill is a graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.A.R. 2008) and completed his studies in the R.C.A. on June 2, 2009. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D. 1979) and Hope College (A.B. 1976).
Bill is married to Jill Te WInkle, and they have two children, Rev. Peter (Julie) Te Winkle and Rev.Kate (Chad) Meyer. They are the happy and proud grandparents of Wil and Joshua, and one "grand-dog", Rocky.
