To Know Christ & Make Him Known
Harlem Reformed Church is a family church. One that ministers to families and that becomes a family to those who fellowship with us. Through various caring and support ministries we seek to share Christ's love, stay connected and build each other up.
Youth and adults at Harlem participate in worship leadership, work on service and mission projects locally, nationally and abroad; and meet in small group Bible studies. The youth ministry is partnering with Youth for Christ to reach out to kids in the area.
Harlem takes seriously its role in sending missionaries and has taken time to get to know missionaries personally in order to support them in prayer. Periodic short-term local and overseas mission-work trips also are common at Harlem Reformed. Praying, Giving and going seems to sum up Harlem's involvement in missions.
Worship at both of Harlem's morning worship services uses a blended musical style, regularly using the organ, piano, guitars, and drums with singing. The ministry of prayer is central in our worship times together, and is heaveliy emphasized throughout the church. From July 1-September 22 we will have one 9:30 AM worship service. At Harlem, our desire is to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
