Ministry
Comm. Member
Services to our Congregation
Card Writer/Sender

Coordinate the writing of cards of encouragement or sympathy to members who are mentioned in the prayers and concerns during the Sunday worship services. Also coordinate sending birthday cards to all home bound members.
Visitation
Starr Estes & Pat Sottilo
Coordinate regular visits to all home bound members (in conjunction with the church Diaconate) and foster a personal caring and concerns relationship. Assess their needs for help in other areas of the Cares and Concerns Committee.  Keep accurate records of visits to ensure consistent ministry.
Telephone Ministry
Sharon Jennings
Contact congregation members in need via phone. Assess their need and provide encouragement. Assure them their needs will be addressed by the appropriate committee or committees. Ensure follow-up.
Meals Coordinator

Provide, deliver, and/or coordinate meals for members unable to provide meals for themselves. Meals are provided to individuals and families during a crisis or hardship situation and to sustain them during this difficult time.
Transportation

Drive or coordinate the transportation needs of members for Doctor appointments and prescription pick up as needed.
Maintain Attend. Records

Track member attendance and ensure members who have missed services for three consecutive weeks are contacted. Inquire to identify any problems/issues that have prevented them from attending church. Offer help if needed.
Organize Prayer List
Katie Meyers
Establish church Prayer Chain. When the church is notified of a need or concern, ensure the prayer chain is executed in sequence to pray for those in need.
