The Sunday Duty List shows all the tasks that need to be done on a Sunday morning and which groups of people perform those tasks.
Ushers and Greeters use several tools to perform this vital ministry:
- Usher Responsibilities describes who coordinates and performs the Greeting, Offering, and Wrap-up tasks for a given service.
- Offering Process outlines the steps to follow in collecting the Offering.
- Offering Diagram A shows how the Offering Collectors lineup, then process through the Sanctuary to collect the Offering.
- Offering Diagram B shows how the Offering Collectors bring the Offering to the front and end the process.
The Sound booth Operating Instructions provide the Operators with the steps involved in operating the church sound system and recording the services onto CD.
The Wedding Policy provides instructions for wedding couples to coordinate their celebration of unity with the appropriate people/groups.
A sample of the Acolyte Invitation Letter is also provided. The Acolyte Coordinator has details about the Acolyte role.
The Music Ministry at Matthews Presbyterian has several informational documents which can be viewed from the website's home page menu item, "Music Ministry."
Schedules for Bus Drivers, Greeters/Ushers, Children's Message Providers, Lay Leaders, Acolytes, and Sound Booth Operators can be found from the home page menu item, "Weekly Helpers."
