Children's Fellowship Ministry

Welcome!

We invite you to visit and participate in any of the many programs sponsored by the Christian Education Committee.  It is the goal of the Children's Christian Education Committee to provide opportunities for Bible study, spiritual growth and fellowship for the children of the church.

Sunday School Classes are offered for children, during the Sunday School Hour from 9:45am - 10:45am.   Classes are offered for children, ages 3 years to 5th Grade.  The Sunday School curriculum is Bible Quest, which focuses on teaching through biblical stories.

Noah's Chapel is a time for children ages 2 years old through Kindergarten to participate in activities after being dismissed from worship service following the Children's Message.  Volunteers (2 adults per room) will lead the children in Bible based activities and quiet play, until the church service has ended.

Preschool Pals is a program for children 2 - 5 years of age.  Preschool Pals meets the 2nd Sunday of each month starting in October, from 4:00pm until 5:00pm.  The children learn stories of the Bible through games, arts and crafts and music.

Vacation Bible School is a one-week summer program offered to children preschool age (must be three years old by October 16, 2006) through rising 6th grade.  Theme based Bible lessons,  activities, crafts, snacks and skits are on the agenda for a fun-filled week.  Vacation Bible School is currently scheduled for the week of June 16th 2008.  More detailed information will be announced in the church bulletin and newsletter, well in advance for interested participants.

Worship Orientation helps transition our Noah Chapel children into big church by teacing them how to listen to a sermon, what the colors on the pulpit and communion table mean, what symbols and decorations in our church are special, and how they might become involved in the services as they grow.
