Presbyterian Women of MPC

The Cluster of Eve
Congregational Survey

Please complete this survey in order to help us to foster the growth of our congregation with mission and support, cultivating spiritual and intellectual growth, promoting love, understanding, unity and hope. This survey will be available on the website and in the August edition of The Window.  Please return your survey at the beginning of our new year, by August 10.  Thank you in advance for your support!

Cultivating Spiritual and Intellectual Growth:   Currently we have a yearly Women’s Retreat at Montreat in October.  Please indicate if any of the options listed below interest you, or if you have another idea for the group.
  •        Couples retreat at Montreat with side activities planned for school-age children. Time of year? ______________
  •        Couples only weekend at Montreat. Time of year? ________________
  •        Couples retreat with children’s activities somewhere other than Montreat (i.e. beach) Time of year? ___________

Brainstorming: Have a thought? Share it! Here’s one suggestion.
To emphasize the importance of extended family, we could designate one Sunday in the fall devoted to bringing together the children and families with our senior members in other facilities. In Sunday school, the children would learn about families of our church and adopt a grandpa or grandma that is not related to their family. Each child participating would visit the senior centers and ask participants to join us at a luncheon on that Sunday and share a special story with the group about families and growing up. ________________________________________________________________________________________________

Fund Raising Activities: What type of fund raising activities could our church support that may be new or have been tried previously that have generated a great deal of support. Please consider time and effort vs. dollars raised.  __________________________________________________________________________________________________
