Prayer Chain
Prayer requests are phoned or emailed down the list from one contact person to the next. The last contact person in each group is to telephone the first person in their group to let him/her know that the request has gone its course and everyone has been informed. For convenience sake, we have repeated that name at the bottom of the list.
Encourage those asking for prayer to keep the chain informed with up-dated information on each request. If you are not able to contact the person immediately below you, call the next person down the chain and so on. Later try to contact the person you missed agia, so no one misses a prayer request. Also, let him/her know that the request has gone through.
Write down the message exactly as you have received it. This will prevent misinformation, partial messages or unrecognizable messages by the time they reach the end of the chain.
Pray immediately. Don't leave the phone until you have actually prayed for the request you have received. Repeat your prayer throughout the day, every time you think of it. Make the request a matter of persistent, faithful prayer to God. Shoot up arrow prayers throughout the day if you do not have time for longer, more intense prayer.
Report answers or updates to prayer soon after they happen. This is one of the most important - and most neglected elements of a prayer chain ministry.
