Purpose of the PTF

New Harvest Christian School strives to operate as a support and extension of the family under the belief that the education of young people is the responsibility of the parents. Our teachers operate with delegated authority from the parents (loco parentis). God, through His Word, the Bible, indicates that the family is the most important human institution God designed since He compares it to the relationship believers have with Christ and the Father. Therefore, at NHCS, we are continually seeking ways to actively involve parents, siblings, and grandparents of our students in the programs of the school. The PTF exists to glorify God by encouraging Christian fellowship and communication among the staff, school board, parents, and students, by supporting the school, and by enriching the academic, spiritual and social life of the student body.
