This will be my 4th year of teaching and my 2nd year at Oskaloosa Christian School. I graduated from Dordt College in Sioux Center, IA in 2006 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a Middle School Endorsement. I have previously taught 5th grade at Ontario Christian School in Ontario, CA and grades 3-8 at Peoria Christian School near Pella.

I got married last summer to Steve Kaisand. He is an 8th grade Math teacher at Oskaloosa Middle School. We live near Tracy where we have Simmental Cattle, as well.
