My goal is to guide them to think and write Christianly in each subject area. I do not have a favorite subject, I enjoy teaching them all.
Besides teaching, I also been pastoring the Tracy Christian Reformed Church since December of 1995. I find teaching and preaching compliment each other. The experience of interacting with children during the week and adults on the weekends provides me an overall view of the foundational importance of applying the Scripture to every aspect of our lives.
I also work as a mentor for two inmates at the Newton Correctional Center one evening a week.
I relax by gardening, cooking, interior designing, making jigsaw puzzles, playing the organ, traveling, and reading. |
