I grew up in Northwest Iowa on an acreage North of Orange City, Iowa. I attended Orange City Christian School and Unity Christian High School. I moved to Pella after graduating from college and have been here ever since. I have always love middle schoolers. I feel so fortunate to get the opportunity to teach Bible and History to the Middle Schoolers at Pella Christian Grade School.
One of my favorite Bible verses is Deuteronomy 32: 2 " Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundent rain on tender plants.
In my free time I like to scrapbook, workout, play/watch sports, watch movies, and read Karen Kingsbury books.
One of the things I love about my job is the amazing people I get to teach, work with, and be in contact with everyday. I am blessed to be able to come to a place where everyone loves and desires to serve the same Lord that I love and desire to serve.
