- I have taught at PCGS for 26 years; Many of those years were part time when my own children were young. I have taught 2nd, 4th,5th, and Math Discovery. FIRST GRADERS ARE NUMBER ONE!

- I grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin
- My parents had a vision for Christian education and I had the privilege to attend and graduate from Waupun Christian School.
- I am a graduate of Dordt College.
- My husband Carl and I have 3 grown children. Melinda ,who lives in North Liberty and is married to Sid Blommers. Jonathan is living and working in Florida., David,our youngest is living in Chicago with his wife Andrea(Christianson).
- My hobbies include water skiing, snow skiiing, running, biking, and spending time with family.
- For me, teaching is a calling. I feel it's my duty to teach children to walk worthy of their calling in Christ Jesus.
- My life text for this year is Ephesians 3: 20-21 "Now to Him who is able to do Immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations,forever and ever! Amen."do not see."
