Welcome to our website!

Providence Reformed Church is one of the few confessionally Reformed churches in the Des Moines area.  We are a relatively new congregation belonging to the United Reformed Churches in North America (URC) federation.  Our aim is to bring the Word of life in Christ Jesus to a crooked and twisted generation which is desperately in need of the saving light of God.

By "Reformed" we mean that we are in the heritage of the 16th century Protestant Reformation, when by God's gracious providence there was a recovery of the Bible as the only infallible, God-breathed authority for all matters of Christian faith, worship, and life.  If you are not yet a member of a true church of Christ, who is the only Savior and King over all, then we call on you to join us at Providence, where we fallen sinners worship the Triune God according to His revealed will (the scriptures) and in total dependence on Christ Jesus, our only righteousness.
