Richard entered the ministry at mid-life, after a long career in higher education. He is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and began his ministry at the Reformed Church of Metuchen in February, 2003.
A gifted preacher and teacher, Pastor Richard is guiding and loving our congregation toward a deeper engagement with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He is married to Rev. Dr. Renee House, Dean of New Brunswick Theological Seminary who also serves on the church staff part time. They have two grown sons, Nathan and Jordan, and two grandchildren, Samuel and Elizabeth (shown in the photo).
