Alum News from Pius XI It is our great pleasure to share with you the following news about Kelly Frings, (St Mary's class of 2006). Following is the press release that was sent out today to the local papers by her coach: Kelly Frings (Jr; Pius XI H.S., WI) has made a verbal commitment to accept a full-ride basketball scholarship to Bradley University. She informed Lady Braves head coach Paula Buscher of her decision to attend the Missouri Valley School during a phone conversation on Wednesday night. The 6'1 forward, was named honorable mention All-State by the Associated Press this past season, and 1st team All-Conference, after leading the Classic Eight conference in scoring (13.1 points per game), rebounding (7.4), steals (2.1), and 3-point field goals (23). Frings joins her AAU teammate Kelsey Budd, (Jr; Sauk Prairie H.S., WI) who committed to the Braves two weeks ago. Frings selected Bradley over Northern Iowa, Ball State, Miami (OH), Princeton and Air Force. This year Kelly was also named to the National Honor Society, and just last week, Classic Eight 1st team All-Conference goalkeeper.
