Parent Testimonials....

March 25, 2009 - I just wanted to let you know how excited Olivia was to participate in mass this morning. Thank you for letting her have that opportunity. You have made her transition to school such a wonderful experience. I can't thank you enough for all the knowledge and values you share with her every day.

Mass was also a great experience for me. It is sometimes difficult to juggle things when working full time - but it was so worth making the time for! Watching all the kids participate was heartwarming and just again reinforces that we made the right decision in sending her to St. Mary's. The school community - staff, teachers and parents - are truly an amazing group of people.
Thank you again!
Tracy, Parent of K5 Student

“4/25/10

Dear Mrs. Joyner,

My two granddaughters, Lucy and Lily Braun attend your school and I had the opportunity to participate in Grandparent’s Day on Friday 4/23.  I was so impressed with your school and the teachers I met.  Mrs. Grismer, Lily’s teacher, was friendly and most professional.  Lily just loves her so much, even though Lily talks too much and Mrs. G must remind her of that.  Lucy’s teacher was not present due to an accident that morning.  I hope she is okay.  Lucy also loves her teacher, a fact that isn’t often mentioned by a 7th grader.  The Book Fair was very nice and well organized.

I felt so good as I left your fine school on Friday, knowing that my 2 girls were in good hands.  Please let your staff know that they are doing an outstanding job.  I worked 45 years in education, the last 12 as Dean of Students at a private all-girls Catholic High School in Louisville, Kentucky.  I spent 33 years in public schools as a teacher, a high school principal, a superintendent, and a university professor.  My point is that I’ve seen many schools, public and private.  St. Mary Parish School ranks as one of the very best that I’ve seen.  Congratulations and thanks!

Regards,
Sam Chandler”

April 24, 2009 - Dear Mrs. Harbury, Grandparents Day was delightful! I'm always amazed at how much the kids are able to learn. Our school is an asset to the parish and the community. Thank you for all you do and have done for so long.
Blessings, Nancy and Ken Wildt Grandparents of Carley (Gr 2) and Cooper (K4)

May 27, 2009 - Covenant Corner - Written by Sara Kohls - At this time last year, our family was new to St. Mary Parish. We had finally made the decision to leave our former parish and enroll our oldest child in St. Mary School. It was not an easy choice for us, and it took us a long time to actually make the switch. We weren't unhappy with our former parish, and like St. Mary, they have a wonderful school that our son could have attended. But the parish wasn't in Menomonee Falls, and sending our son to school in another community just didn't seem right for us.

So we spent several months attending different masses at St. Mary's. We talked to other families that had children here to gain insight into the parish and the school. We toured the school several times and met with Mrs. Joyner to ask questions and learn more about the school. Since we would be leaving a parish with a very vibrant church community and school, it was important to us that we didn't lose that sense of connection that existed between the parish and the school.

After much discussion, we ultimately made the decision to join St. Mary Parish, and we enrolled our son in K5. Looking back on the past year, we are confident that we made the right decision for our family. We have found St. Mary's to be a very welcoming community, and the education that our son is receiving has been amazing. It's hard to believe how much he has learned this year, and how much faith and religion have been a part of each day's learning.

We are equally amazed at how many connections we have made with other St. Mary's families this year. To all of the families that have made us feel so welcome, we say "thank you." Thank you for gving us a tour of the school and for answering our questions. Thank you for saying "Hi" to us when we walked down the hall at various events. Thank you for inviting us to join your trivia team. Thank you for including us at your table at the parish auction. Thank you for asking us how we are doing and how we like St. Mary's. Thank you for making our son's experience here so wonderful. I can only hope that our family will have a similar influence on future St. Mary School families.

We look forward to the days when our younger two children are also students at St. Mary's. We hope to make many more friends and many more memories in the years to come as we continue to look to St. Mary Parish and School to help us grow deeper in faith and love. We feel so blessed to be part of such an amazing place. So, have a safe and happy summer, and we look forward to meeting more of you next year.
