Why Women's Ministry?

We’re here to give women opportunity to serve in ministry, with the gifts, abilities and talents they have been given.

We’re also about serving women - women throughout HRM - and serving them in ways that meet some of their very specific needs.

StoneRidge’s mission is to help people take their next step toward Jesus Christ… One Life at a Time. We want to see that mission realized within the lives of women in our community. We believe that as we deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ, women begin to influence their homes, churches, neighborhoods, and work places, in an even more powerful way.

What does Women’s Ministry do?

Glad you asked.

We study current topics together. Sometimes through DVD studies on the big screen, and other times we make it happen on a more personal, small group study guide level.

Every fall we take a day to concentrate on our health and other relevant issues that pertain to women only, through our Women’s Health Matters program.

We enjoy SOUL Fest together a couple times a year (an evening full of singing and life story). We look forward to our semi-annual Spring Retreat together. And we do lunch (and so much more). But most importantly, we look forward to meeting you, the women in our community, and dealing with today’s topics and issues together... One Life at a Time.
