Are you PC literate - even just a little? Then you’ve got what it takes to run Easy Worship once a month. Involves switching the lyrics you see on the big screen during music worship time and keeping the flow of things going smoothly. It’s easy! Why else would they call it Easy Worship? (Even my mother could run it! Now if only she wasn't attending another church...) And we’ll train you on how to use it. (Even easier!)

Set-up for communion once a month. Find out how they get that small amount of juice in those little cups every time (without making a big mess!), prepare the bread, and take pride in what goes on behind the scenes. We'll train.

Operate tripod-mounted cameras (occasionally we'll go hand-held) during the Sunday morning weekend services (and maybe Saturday nights someday), and during special events. Live video switching during same. Lighting using the light board in the sound booth. Set-up, teardown, and basic maintenance of equipment. See the service from a different perspective, and wear a really cool black shirt. Training (and cool shirt) provided.

Positions available for men and women to be part of the usher team. Our ushers provide assistance during all three weekend services. Pick the service that best fits your schedule.

Positions available to those able to circulate books after the 6:30 p.m. Saturday service or the 9:00 a.m. Sunday service. This is a once-per-month serving opportunity, or you can assist by placing your name on our spares list. Training provided.

Prepare coffee and tea for Sunday morning social time (which takes place after the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services). Set-up in the foyer. Clean-up afterwards.

 Beverage Makers are responsible for properly filling the coffee and tea percolators. Must be able to carry percolators upstairs to the foyer, and back downstairs to the kitchen afterwards, at which point they must be cleaned for the next weekend. Must ensure sufficient stock of coffee, teabags, sugar, sweetener, milk and cream are on hand once beverages have been consumed (for the next weekend).

If you enjoy making people feel like a V.I.P. then this is a great ministry to get plugged into.  People who serve in the First Impressions ministry are the folks our visitors and regular church family interact with as soon as they arrive on site.  A friendly smile and a "how are you" is sometimes all people need to perk up their day.  If this sounds like the team you could be involved with, let us know and we'll put you into action.

Do you love the questions “Guess what!?” and “Why?” Do you love sharing the word of God? If you do, joining the KP team as a Small Group Substitute Leader might be just up your alley!

Get to know the StoneRidge Kids on a personal level, learn where they’re coming from and have a direct impact on their spiritual and personal growth.

Small Group Sub Leaders present the lesson provided and facilitate discussion among the kids, listen to memory verses and keep track of which children have learned them. As a SGL Sub, you are expected to arrive early and be ready to greet the children 15 minutes prior to the start of the service, as the children go directly to small group after checking in.

Note: Substitute Leaders are not placed on a regular schedule, and are requested to serve when a regular Small Group Leader is unavailable. SGL Subs must be members in good standing at StoneRidge Fellowship, and at least 16 years of age in order to serve in this capacity.

Do you enjoy kids? Are you looking for a “get-your-feet-wet” chance to serve? Then joining the KP team as a small group helper might be just what you’re looking for!

Small group helpers assist the small group leader in maintaining order, escort children to the washroom, and help with crafts and other activities.

Small group helpers serve weekly at one service. Small group helpers are expected to arrive early and be ready to greet their children 15 minutes prior to the start of the service, as the children go directly to small group after checking in.

Small group helpers are not required to be members, but must demonstrate a committed relationship with Jesus Christ. This opportunity to serve is ideal for teens in grades 7-9.

Be one of the wacky, yet loveable King's Pier characters! Help bring them to life! Or both! This is your chance to let your creative juices flow, act a little crazy and teach our children from God's word.

The KP Creative Team brainstorms and writes lesson-based skits and performs them. Team members perform in pairs once per month at all three services. If you're only interested in brainstorming/writing, that's A-OK. All team members are expected to participate in planning sessions.
